Exclusive Interview with Vincent Laforet at NAB about the new Movi. See why Vincent tells RunHollywood that it is the newt big.
So this is the second year the RunHollywood team has attended the National Association of Broadcasting event in Las Vegas, Nevada.
This year we got an chance to talk to the Red Team about their new toy The Red Dragon; the 6K beast that is going to change the game. No word on what films it is going to be used in yet. However, our good friend Ted Schilowits told us everything you want to know about what makes this camera the cool kid on the block.
We also got to chat it up with our friends from Arri; they tell us about how the Alexa made Skyfall one of the best lowlight films of all time. They also let us know what they are planning to do to get into the world of 4K. Blackmagic? Yeah… you heard me: Blackmagic (and I am not referring to the work of Lord Voldemort). I’m talking about the 4k and super 16 cams that are coming in July of 2013. We talk to the big guns from the marketing team and find out what a sub-$4,000 4k Cinema camera will do to our BFFs the Cannon Mark 3 and Nikon D800.
GoPro? Sure, we have your GoPro right here! We get an interview with the Extreme team of GoPro with our Super Extreme reporter Step Rocket. What is GoPro going to do now that they have 2Billion and FoxCon building their rigs? Find out when Step Rocket asks the hard questions.
And last but not least, we finish out our NAB week with an exclusive interview with Mr. Vincent Laforet. He shows us a never-before-seen short film he made on the all new Movi rig. Find out why Vince tells Jett why this is the second biggest thing to hit the DSLR world sinse the 5D Mark 2.
This is just a taste of what you are going to see this year. So see all of this and much much more only on RunHollywood.com Photo of the filming team from NAB 2013 left to right Step Rocket, Chris Merle, Jett Dunlap,
